A Bee-You-tiful Discovery

Who knew there was still so much to be discovered? And in our own backyard? Between 2023-2025 the new Washington Bee Atlas Project found 17 native species that were not known to exist in the state as well as 12 native species not recorded since 1970. Of these, nine are from our own Chelan Douglas counties. Please come learn about these exciting new findings, why they are important and how you can become involved in helping native bees thrive.
