Mission
The Foundation, in partnership with WSU Extension, provides financial support to the WSU Master Gardener Program so it can provide unbiased, research-based, WSU-approved information about non-commercial horticulture primarily to citizens of Chelan and Douglas Counties, emphasizing sustainable gardening practices and environmental stewardship:
- generate funds to supplement and enhance the Master Gardener Program
- facilitate individual Foundation member education and the exchange of ideas and information through periodic training seminars, and meetings.

Impact
WSU Extension Master Gardener volunteers in Chelan and Douglas counties are the go-to resource for seeking innovative solutions for ever-changing horticulture and environmental stewardship needs in Central Washington.
The Foundation makes a difference by supporting researched-based education and program outreach in our communities. Most of our community programs are free to the public because of our financial support.
