Hypertufa pots are traditionally made from Portland cement, perlite, peat moss, and water; however, we will be using coconut fiber as a more environmentally friendly alternative. These pots have been used in Europe for many years, especially in England.
Items you will need to bring to class (all other supplies will be provided).
- A plastic bowl measuring no more than 14″ across at the top.
- available at places like the Dollar Store.
- or use one you already have that meets the size requirements.
- A sturdy pair of rubber gloves.
- You may also want to bring an apron to protect your clothing.
