The Finola Tulip is a double peony variety tulip with delicate and sociable blooms. Grey days are brightened by these flowers and their bountiful pale pink petals which darken with age. A hint of green on the outer petals compliments the cheerfulness of these tulips.
While normal tulips have six petals, Double Tulips have at least double that number. These tulips are equally at home in pots, containers and border areas of flower beds and favor sunny, pleasant weather but do well in shady areas protected from heavy rains and strong winds. Gardeners can find double tulips in a wide range of colors and petal shapes such as egg shaped, fringed, or even the peony flowers. Bloom times range from the end of the mid-season to late season.
